Driven by a love for meaningful moments and intentional storytelling, Mackenzie strives to cultivate images that capture the heart of each passing moment. Her work is often described as rooted, sincere, and intimate, with a documentary-style approach that highlights the smallest details and authentic emotions.
Mackenzie’s perceptive and thoughtful approach is perfect for couples who want to be fully immersed in their day without missing any of the magic. She believes wedding photography should mirror the distinct ambiance shaped by the couple’s personalities and the people they hold close. Her work celebrates not just the wedding itself, but the deeper connections and stories that make the day truly special.
College is when I found my way back to photography, and naturally, I gravitated toward photographing couples. It felt natural, like a place where my love of connection finally clicked. I’m the friend who notices how people interact, who brings everyone together, who holds relationships close. Outside of weddings, life looks like running a studio with two of my closest friends, writing down invention ideas in the notes app on my phone, slowing down with my dogs and fiancé, and actually enjoying winter for the reset it gives me.
People tend to come to me for honesty and a clear perspective, and I carry that same calm, supportive energy into every wedding day. The family dynamics, the small gestures, the stories shared in speeches, the love that shows up in unspoken ways — that’s the part of the day that stays with me and why this work means so much. It's truly an honor to be immersed in it, and something that I don't take lightly.
